I decided to manipulate the photo by changing the brightness and contrast, other that I refrained from smoothing the skin, or removing any creases in the clothes because the genre itself is extremely raw and edgy it would have been very unnatural to do so. 
My model does have very spotty skin, however this shows his age and is a very honest depiction of my artist. Instead of making him look too false, I preferred the more natural look so decided to stick with it.
